What cha looking at?

Ever see a magician do a magic trick? Whether it’s a card trick, a hidden ball trick, or pulling a coin out of your ears, there's a reason it is accomplished. The success of the trick is based upon what is called 'sleight of hand'. His success is based upon a method where you try and distract, thus taking someone's attention away from where it should be, to some other place; and while they're distracted, you can finish the trick! People will be amazed, startled, and desirous of more after the first trick, because of this fact. Have you ever imagined how many of God's miracles, wonders, and incredible feats you have missed because the enemy had sidetracked you, and had you looking in the wrong direction (your circumstances, your finances, your marriage), when you should have been keeping your eye on The Lord! God wants your undivided attention, so that you can participate in the miracle process of seeing him bring something out of nothing (somebody knows what I'm talking about)! Sometimes all we have to do is lift up our hands (remember Moses with the staff, Exodus 14:16, 21-22); other times He may ask us to walk by faith (Matt 14:28-29). Either way, if we simply do what The Lord commands us, we will experience the mighty hand of God. So the next time the devil try's to come and bring adversity, opposition, or hardship; remember to ask yourself, what am I looking at?
