Graduating To The Next Level

I remember while growing up playing Pac Man & Ms. Pac Man. At that time it was a very innovative and state of the art game. The player gathers points by eating dots and avoiding ghosts (contact with one loses a life). Power-pellets or energizers change the ghosts which reverse their course and can be eaten for bonus points (200, 400, 800, and 1,600 points if all 4 ghosts are eaten before they change back to their normal colors). I loved chewing up those ghosts and getting an extended period of
gobbling ghosts and receiving additional points for it.

My first excitement was when I got off the first level and moved to the next. After practicing at this level for awhile, I finally mastered the board and went to level three. At this level, the color changed and it seemed like the monster’s got faster. I eventually mastered this level and moved onto the next. Same reality; new color, faster men, and a greater skill level required. I never got past the third level!

Many of us have children that are graduating from school this year. This accomplishment is not something that is to be ignored, but regardless what level they graduated from, there is still more to accomplish. We will celebrate your accomplishments in high school but there's still college to master. Graduating from college is great but there's still a Master’s to achieve. Why stop there? A Doctorate is only a few years away.

Life is full of levels, and the key to life is mastering the level you are currently in, so as to experience God's next level of challenges but also blessings for your life.

We take our hats off to you today. The screen (life) has changed colors, things will get faster, and you will have to adjust. You can achieve the next level with God's help.
